Balloon Powered Car STEM Workshop for Youth In-Person
Seal Cove Auto Museum is excited to partner with the Southwest Harbor Public Library to offer an engaging STEM workshop for youth at the library. Seal Cove’s Ms. Jane and Southwest Harbor’s Ms. Chrissy will guide young “engineers in training” through the process of building a balloon-powered car.
Through experimentation and observation, participants will learn how energy converts to motion! With a little trial and error, the participants' balloon cars will soar through the halls of the library and a race will commence!
This activity is best suited for children over the age of 5 or with practice in fine motor skills. Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Southwest Harbor Public Library to take advantage of this fun and educational program. Registration required. For info and questions, call 207-244-7065.
