The Mount Desert Nursing Association (MDNA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health, safety, and independence of the people of Mount Desert Island, Trenton, and Lamoine. This year they celebrate their 75th year of providing skilled nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy to homebound patients. Last year, MDNA made over 4,000 visits and loaned medical and adaptive equipment from their Loan Closet to over 240 residents.
