Exhibit - Women's History Month

Exhibit - Women's History Month In-Person

The Southwest Harbor Public Library is celebrating Women’s History Month in March 2025 with an exhibit featuring works from individuals connected to Mount Desert Island (MDI), all inspired by the theme 'Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations.' Mount Desert Islanders and those connected to MDI will showcase their creations from March 5-28. The exhibit will include glass collage, fabric appliqué, oils, video, photography, prose, colored pencils, pastels, quilts, paper mâché, and more.

On Friday, March 7 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. join us for a reception to view the show and meet the exhibitors. Light refreshments provided.

Other MDI libraries exhibits for Women’s History Month include the Bass Harbor Public Library, the Somesville Library, and the Northeast Harbor Library.
