Frogtown Mountain Puppet Show Kicks Off Summer Reading

Join us to on Thursday, June 18th, from 5:30-7:00 pm at The Safe Harbor Alano Club (formerly The American Legion Hall), behind the Library. Celebrate the Summer Reading Kick-off and Sign-up Event with a puppet show by Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers. From 5:30-6:00 p.m., sign up your babies, kids, and teens for summer reading. Then enjoy a pirate-themed puppet show from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Gear up for summer fun by reading and winning prizes. Space is limited.
Registration encouraged. Register below. Register for all people attending - children and caregivers.

In “Everybody Loves Pirates,” eight-year-old Lucy and her goofy pal Little Chucky are searching for buried treasure, but a gang of bumbling pirates keeps getting in the way! The kids get some help from their new ocean-dwelling friends, including enthusiastic superhero Lobster Boy, his reluctant sidekick Crabby, and an overgrown sea monkey.

Summer Reading goes from Friday, June 12th to Saturday, August 15th. Sign up starts June 12th at the library. Details about the Summer Reading Program HERE.
