Exhibit Barbara & Frank Roberts In-Person
Don't miss this June exhibit of Barbara and Frank Roberts featuring Barbara's acrylic paintings of Acadia and Frank's pen & ink drawings of Rockefeller Bridges and Buildings. The exhibit runs from June 2-29th.
Barbara Roberts has loved art since childhood and turned that passion into a lifelong creative journey. A University of Cincinnati design graduate, she worked with Yale’s Peabody Museum creating illustrated educational materials before moving into interior design and architectural modeling. After years of summering in Maine, Barbara and her husband, Frank, made the coast their permanent home in 2004. Inspired by Maine’s beauty — especially Acadia National Park — her paintings blend vibrant color, imagination, and a touch of fantasy beyond photographic realism.
Architect and artist Frank Roberts draws inspiration from a lifetime of creativity, travel, and coastal living. After studying architecture at the University of Cincinnati and working with leading Connecticut firms, he later established his own practice while raising a family just outside New York City. Since settling permanently on the Maine coast in 2004, Frank has focused his artistic work on the striking landscapes of coastal Maine and Acadia National Park.
