iPhone Intermediate - Onsite Class Session 2 of 3 In-Person
The Southwest Harbor Public Library is partnering with the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) to provide onsite Digital Literacy Classes in September in an effort to create innovative strategies to close the digital divide across Maine.

This course builds on the skills that are acquired in the iPhone Basics class. The primary focus of the Intermediate class is the exploration of the applications that Apple provides for free as part of the iOS. Applications such as Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Messages, FaceTime, and many others will be covered.
This classes is free but space is limited to 10 people and an in-person facilitator.
Please note: you will need to fill out a one-time enrollment form for the NDEC when you sign up for your first class.

These classes are being offered in the Clark Room where participants will view the NDEC instructor on Zoom with a local facilitator available in-person to assist the instructor and students. Bring your own phone.

The National Digital Equity Center’s “Maine Digital Inclusion Initiative'' program was launched in 2018 and promotes and advocates for Digital Inclusion for Maine and its people. Included is the expansion of digital literacy services to traditionally underserved populations to provide job training/employment-related education as well as technology training to older adults. The program has engaged and trained digital literacy instructors to provide computer skills/digital literacy instruction to adult learners throughout Maine.
