The Southwest Harbor Public Library wants to hear from you! Join us for a discussion of how to make the library more accessible to all of our community.  Anne Napier, who is a local ADA consultant,“Senior Spaces-Safe Places”, will facilitate the discussion at 2 PM on May 8th at the library. The library has been selected as one of 310 libraries to participate in Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an American Library Association (ALA) initiative that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities. The competitive award comes with a $10,000 grant that will help the Southwest Harbor library improve the accessibility of the library to more of our community.

Come join us and let us know what works well, and what might be changed to work better for you. You can participate in person or online.
