Space Availability - Southwest Harbor Public Library

Room Requests

The Southwest Harbor Public Library has two rooms that can be reserved for private use. These spaces are ideal for studying, meetings, zoom conferences, and working from home-away-from-home.

  • The Clark Room is a meeting room for parties of 1-16.
  • The Privacy Booth is an individual work room for 1 person.
  • Reservations are on a first come, first served basis; to keep it fair, only three reservation can be made per person per week and reservations cannot exceed two hours at a time. 

To Request A Room

  1. Call 207-244-7065,
  2. Email circulation@swhplibrary.org,
  3. Stop by the Front Desk, or
  4. Make an online reservation below.

To Make An Online Reservation

  1. Green indicates availability. Navigate in the grid to the day and time you want to make a reservation for. The arrows will jump you to the next available time. Select the start-time of your reservation.

  2. Below the availability grid, there will be a drop down menu. Select your end time. The booking defaults to one hour if no end time is selected; bookings cannot exceed two hours or room availability.

  3. Under the drop down menu, select "Submit Times."

  4. On the next page, review your booking details and make changes as necessary. Select "Continue."

  5. Please fill out all of the required fields and select "Submit my Booking." Your booking will be submitted for consideration by library staff; you will recieve an email when your booking is confirmed.
